the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped
develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated
game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
We have grown quite a bit over the last few years, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. We want to build the best first person co-op games together, in an approachable, fun and passion-driven way.
The role
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you know the product and how to connect it with our key audiences. You are able to work in a creativity-led environment and be the link between marketing and development, fostering a one-team mentality. Together with the marketing and production leadership team, you identify, create, and drive global marketing plans that cater to new and existing customers. You possess a strong analytical acumen and business judgment and are able to apply these to drive greater results. You are able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a proven track record in marketing. You are willing to step in and assist fellow marketeers and developers going from strategic thinking to tactical execution. Your passion for video games and the gaming industry is important, and you have the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically. You should also be accustomed to using customer-centric data to identify opportunities and evaluate results.
In this role, you’ll be focused on Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and be responsible for a significant marketing budget, working closely with the Head of Marketing as well as the Directors and Executive Producer on the game.
What you'll do
- Lead overall product and campaign marketing strategies, tactical planning, execution, optimization, and measurement across assigned titles, both pre- and post-launch
- Ensure marketing strategies are aligned with your assigned game’s product goals and its strategic direction, the latter must be well-communicated within the marketing team
- Monitor and coordinate the marketing team’s progress, key deliverables, and project milestones to ensure timely delivery of marketing beats and assets
- Support efficient workflows within the marketing team using tools like Jira and optimize marketing beat processes
- Partner closely with cross-functional and internal teams, including the development and the product leadership team, to define and drive marketing efforts
- Serve as a product marketing expert with in-depth knowledge of our games
- Create marketing plans in close collaboration with the marketing and the product leadership team, and present them to development teams and management
- Identify market trends and key opportunities for innovation
- Understand the target audience, analyze customer patterns, and share insights with internal teams about what drives and motivates our players
- Continuously work on optimizing conversion activities to drive player and business KPIs
- Collaborate with the Art Director and Creative Marketing Lead in the development of the brand strategy, creation of a content calendar for major beats and own style guides for assigned titles
- Validate and approve external and internal assets before deployment, together with the Creative Marketing Lead and Licensors
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years in product marketing and/or similar experience working on successful marketing campaigns
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and adept at managing key internal and external partnerships
- Great presentation skills - comfortable with presenting to key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Result-oriented and able to be self-sufficient with strong organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passionate about games, ideally with experience in games marketing
- Located in Stockholm, or willing to relocate to Stockholm

We have a policy of working 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day optional to work from home. The onboarding is being done fully in the office.
