We are an independent Swedish game development studio located in Södermalm, Stockholm. With about 75 experienced and skilled employees we have worked as contractors for a number of AAA projects, as well as developed titles with publishers and independently for both consoles and PC. Our most recent game is the critically acclaimed title Warhammer: Vermintide 2. We tackle every project, genre and setting with enthusiasm, professionalism and a cup of coffee.

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer

Fatshark is looking to hire a skilled QA Engineer that will further improve how we work with QA testing. Since this is a brand new position at Fatshark you will have a great impact in setting new routines in how we tackle every day challenges that revolve around assuring the quality of our games and manage continuous testing during production, as well as testing gameplay in tight collaboration with both our internal QA- and Tools development teams.

What you'll do

Today, we run automated tests with our own test framework, using Lua and Ruby, to build great tools and test cases that streamlines our QA process – yet we are open to using other languages too. There are parts of our testing that needs to be automated and this is where you come in as a QA Engineer!
Some of the things you will do is to create automated functionality tests for new game features, do performance testing and visualize user-friendly automated test. For this position you will be the very important link between the Tools- and QA teams, but you will also iterate with other teams and push for new ideas and realizing them.


· Professional programming experience

· At least 2+ years experience in creating automated test cases

· 2+ years education in programming - or the experience to make up for that

· Excellent communication in English (Swedish is not a requirement)

·  A team player: you are flexible and adaptive. You have a positive attitude and ability to collaborate, lead and inspire

· Structured and analytic, used to setting new routines & visualizing data


· Experienced in Lua / Ruby / C#

· Experience working with games for PC and current generation of consoles

· You have a great passion for playing and making games

· Experience from other parts of games development, production and/or publishing

· Knowledge in Warhammer lore
