We are Fatshark

We are an independent Swedish game development studio located in Södermalm, Stockholm. With about 120 experienced and skilled employees we have worked as contractors for a number of AAA projects, as well as developed titles with publishers and independently for both consoles and PC. Our most recent game is the critically acclaimed title Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and we are also working on our next game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. 

The role

Do you like to help teams become better teams? Do you like to help solve problems to enable a team to get things done? Are you passionate about seeing your team's hard work rewarded? The Associate Producer position is responsible for the oversight and success of a large set of features or services inside a Fatshark game. As an AP you will work closely with the Project Leadership team to help with developing all aspects of game creation, and building towards games as a service for your team's area of the game.

  • Coordinate all aspects of game development for your given team(s)
  • Evolve and improve best practices with a focus on operational capacity and live service
  • Improve communication inside your team both in project and in studio


  • Maintain a creative environment, motivate fellow developers, nurture team health and foster a culture of success
  • Assist with highlighting staffing and resource allocation shortfalls and additional capacity


  • Use project management tools, production methodologies, and leadership level dialogue to maintain tight schedules and high standards of quality
  • Identify and fix bottlenecks, as well as clearing roadblocks both on the day-to-day and in the longer term
  • Ensure all relevant information is documented and accurate


  • Drive the vision set for the assigned product, balancing the business goals, design intention and production schedule to deliver a cohesive user experience to our players
  • Set, communicate and measure the KPI’s for all features being developed by your team
  • Establish and maintain a shared vision between your team, the project and relevant stakeholders

Required qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a Production role or Product owner position in games
  • A solid understanding of all aspects of game production (management, planning, scheduling, technology, design, art, audio, localization, QA)
  • Thrives in an interactive and agile work environment and collaborates well with various work styles
  • Ability to effectively manage projects under tight deadlines and in complex and fluid business environments

Bonus qualifications

  • CSPO certification
  • Experience with live services
  • Experience formulating product messaging and marketing plans
  • Interest in Warhammer
